Approach
Our Client is a well-known European company, leader in the steel industry, with whom we have cooperated to create a production data monitoring dashboard that interfaces with both field data and internal management systems.
In order to improve our Client's production efficiency and monitor production processes, we decided to use DiVE, our innovative Digital Platform for Industry 4.0, which enables companies to digitally collect and analyze field data, predict potential malfunctioning of machines and tools, anticipate and prevent negative trends in the quality of their manufacturing processes.
Solution
How does it work?
- Data are acquired directly from the platform thanks to an application developed ad hoc to accommodate the Customer's hardware architecture.
- The DiVE MAPs module manages data acquisition and calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and other KPIs, in addition to basic reporting.
- The Synoptic component of the DiVE Foundation module was instead used to design the real-time supervision interface for monitoring, showing in real time the variation of KPIs and meter values related to the status of production and alarms.
