Approach

Our client is an Italian company that creates and sells collectibles, home décor items and gifts. It boasts almost 500 sales outlets (direct and indirect), several flagship stores and major logistics centres.

The company has recently undergone a radical change, from a manufacturer of collectibles into a multi-channel retailer.
Our project aims at evolving the client’s retail model and digitally transforming company’s technological environments operating for omnichannel business areas.

The end goal is to build a value-added customer relationship, creating a close synergy between traditional sales channels and new purchasing methods (e.g. e-commerce) through a wider range of “touchpoints”.

Solution

Our solution allows the customer to receive, directly at home, the items they saw in the shop and ordered on a tablet with the support of the shop assistant. In addition, based on the customer’s data, each shop assistant is able to have a real time overview of their tastes and interests, for a greatly improved sales support process.
Our solution was developed in partnership with Cegid, involving several application components (Cegid Y2, MyClientelling, Microsoft CRM, SAP ERP) and including the management of:
