Responding more quickly and efficiently to regulatory changes and having necessary information easily available is an increasingly important need for our regions.
For almost 20 years we have been managing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) of the Emilia-Romagna Region to support planning and control of resources.
Solution
In 2012 the Emilia-Romagna Region needed to evolve this system with highly integrated market solutions and our Engineering experts took up the challenge by proposing SAPERE, a SAP platform that is able to:
- Enhance the system of responsibility and work in the Emilia-Romagna Region Authority.
- Integrate the way of operating among the different organizational structures of the Region and between these and other regional parties.
- Promote a significant evolution of online tools for offices, encouraging the elimination of obsolete tools.
- Strengthen planning and control processes, both internal and external.
- Create greater clarity in the roles of cross-cutting Directorates, encouraging the introduction and use of planning and control tools.
