Our client is a European multinational company known all over the world and leader in the production of confectionery products, with a turnover of tens of billions of euro and thousands of employees.
The innovation project of the client's supply chain led to realization of the new logistics hub in Eastern Europe. The challenge was to be able to implement an Industry 4.0 solution for the new site that allowed management of Finished, Semi-finished and Loose (vrac) products.
Solution
Our experts have managed many successful projects within the company and this time they chose to adopt the SAP EWM management system, fully integrated with SAP ERP.
This solution enables fully automated management of the warehouse for all types of products and in all the different phases: Inbound, Outbound, Doors Management, Internal Movement, Bin Mapping (status, lock/unlock, etc), Labor Management and CoPacking Management with Picking, Transfer, etc. Full integration with SAP ERP was also ensured.

With the digitalization of all operational logistics processes introduced by our solution, we satisfied the strategic requirements expressed by the client for the new warehouse: optimize the group's supply chain in terms of operational efficiency, process control and monitoring, and containment of management costs.
