Approach

We collaborated with one the world's leading home appliance companies, with approximately $21 billion in annual sales, 92.000 employees and 65 manufacturing and technology research centers in 2018.

In 2014 the client acquired another home appliance company, starting a complex harmonization process of the IT systems, to integrate all the different procedures and activities.
In detail, we leaded the company in this process of harmonization, integrating the Warehouse processes of the Spare Part Centers of both companies involved in the merger process.

Solution

The solution we provided was a SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system for the:
  • Integration with ERP systems.
  • Full Receiving, Internal Transfer and Picking / Packing via Handling Unit / Loading.
  • Wave Management integrated with the Shipment and Parcel Courier.
  • Management of resource Execution Constraints.
  • Creation of Work Order with sophisticated routing rule.
  • Production Integration.
  • Complex packing rule implementation.
  • Full RF processes Implementation.
  • Full HU and Boxes activation.
  • Management of Picking, Packing, Staging and Loading phases.
