Art and science. In the year of the Leonardo celebrations, this is the guiding theme of #STEMintheCity, the initiative promoted by the Municipality of Milan to spread the culture of STEM, to remove the cultural stereotypes that distance girls from study paths in technical-scientific subjects, reduce the gender gap in STEM careers and professions.
The event program, open to both girls and boys to foster an inclusive culture, will be articulated throughout the month of April 2019 and will end on 6, 7 and 8 May with The marathon of STEM.
On May 7, Lanfranco Marasso, Smart City Program Director of Engineering, will hold a workshop, addressed to students of the third and fourth year of high school, entitled "From Lego to the" bricks" that today build the IOT".
