The HIMSS presents the 2022 European Health Conference & Exhibition, bringing the European healthcare community back together in Helsinki. The EU is investing €673bn in “recovery and resilience” of which at least €13bn is targeting investment in digital health transformation. Healthcare and IT leaders have a bigger-than-ever opportunity to advance the digital transformation of their health systems.
The event aims at putting together HIMSS's knowledge, expertise and thought leadership in healthcare digitisation, with a healthcare expert network of entrepreneurs and investors showcasing the latest and most innovative health tech solutions. There will be displayed live events with healthcare professionals and sessions from more than 120 thought leaders and experts in healthcare digitisation.
Francesco Torelli, our senior researcher, will give a speech in the session named Activating Citizens Through the Power of Data & Technology, which will take place the 16th June from 1 to 2 p.m. He will present the InteropEHRate project, a new model for managing health data that is distributed and shared among citizens, hospitals and research centres.
