Engineering sponsors and participates in the IEEE World Congress on Services (IEEE SERVICES 2019), which will be held from 8 to 13 July 2019 at the University of Milan.
The Congress will cover all aspects of the development and application of services, current or emerging: Cloud, Edge and Internet of Things (IoT), as well as technologies for intelligent processing, learning, Big Data and Blockchain applications .
Vito Morreale will co-chair the Industry Program, where different highly interactive sessions will focus on creating a bridge between academic research and the industrial market.
Engineering will participate on July 11th with a session named “A cloud-to-edge architecture for predictive analytics”, where Angelo Marguglio will illustrate the design and prototype implementation of a plug-n-play end-to-end cloud architecture enabling predictive maintenance of industrial equipment.
