There is time until May 5 to participate in the IT and social responsibility 2021 competition organized by the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the CINI - National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics, which also sees Engineering as one of its partners. The initiative was created to stimulate students to implement an IT project focused on three objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Health and Wellbeing (Goal 3), Quality Education (Goal 4) and Decent Work and Economic Growth (Goal 8).
The competition is part of Program the Future, which provides schools and teachers with a series of simple, effective and easily accessible tools to train students in the scientific and cultural foundations of information technology.
It is aimed at the classes of Italian preschools, primary and secondary I and II state and equal schools in Italy and abroad. Each single class can submit only one project on the programmailfuturo.it/progetto/concorso-2021. page.
The best works will be awarded during a national ceremony-event, in presence or in streaming, dedicated to the promotion of teaching in the school of the scientific-cultural basis of information technology. The ceremony will be attended not only by the highest authorities in the world of education, but also by representatives of Parliament and Government and the highest exponents of the partners of the "Program the Future" project.
