Environmental Policy

The companies of the Engineering Group have chosen to implement and certify an Environmental Management System compliant with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard.

In order to obtain continuous improvement of environmental performance, and manage and reduce the impact of business activities on the surrounding environment, they are committed to respecting environmental laws in force, at all administrative levels and in all production sectors.

The companies of the Engineering Group are formally committed to the prevention of pollution and protection of the environment through:

  • systematic evaluation of the environmental impact of every activity carried out in-house, also to avoid and/or handle emergency situations
  • consideration of all new products and processes from an environmental point of view.

Furthermore, the companies of the Engineering Group are responsible for the correct disposal of the waste and its suitable destination; any polluting emissions into the atmosphere, soil and water will be controlled and possibly reduced.

Engineering has always been committed to allocating adequate human and financial resources to full implementation and dissemination of this policy and to achievement of the environmental objectives and programs necessary for applying it.

Energy and Mobility Management

Within the Environmental Management System, companies implement regulatory obligations concerning the rational use of energy (under Article 19 of Law No. 10 of 9 January 1991  and Article 7, paragraph 1, letter e) of Ministerial Decree 28 December 2012) and under Sustainable Mobility (Decree of the Ministry of the Environment of 27 March 1998).
