The CitySCAPE Italian Web Conference 2021 will take place on December 15th, a project funded by the EU's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, aimed at improving cyber security in multimodal transport.
Traditional security controls are becoming increasingly inefficient and do not support new applications of interconnected transportation systems. This gap opens the way to the increasingly advanced cyber-type threats which, also benefiting from the poor management of security aspects, are able to affect the various types of transport systems.
CitySCAPE introduces innovative risk analysis techniques and manages a series of software solutions to create an interoperable toolkit that integrates seamlessly into any multimodal transport system.
Engineering, which in the project is mainly involved in the development of Intrusion Detection (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention (IPS) systems as well as in the implementation of the financial impact assessment engine, cost-benefit analysis and exploitation, will speak at the event talking about "Innovative IPS / IDS frameworks for enhancement of tackling intrusions".
