Engineering took part in I-Cities 2025 – the 11th Italian Conference on ICT for Smart Cities and Communities, the national conference dedicated to digital technologies for smart cities and communities, held from 17 to 19 September in Gaeta.

During the event, Antonio Arcadi, Software Development Senior at Engineering, presented the paper “A Multi-Dimensional Framework for Urban Digital Twins: The AVANT Approach”, outlining the AVANT (IPCEI-CIS) project approach to the development of Urban Digital Twins based on the integration of data, cloud-edge computing, simulation models and artificial intelligence.

Engineering also contributed to the panel “Bridging Innovation and Impact: the Role of Industry in Shaping Smart Cities” with an intervention by Giovanni Frattini, providing the industrial perspective on how digital technologies can turn research outcomes into concrete solutions for cities.

Participation in I-Cities 2025 is part of the AVANT project’s dissemination activities, confirming Engineering’s commitment to developing advanced digital solutions supporting urban innovation, sustainability and data-driven governance.
