Engineering is participating in the IKN Italy webinar series, dedicated to energy flexibility with a focus on key themes that are reshaping the role of energy players: from Demand Response to storage, from Renewable Energy Communities to enabling technologies, business models, and real-world case studies.

Vincenzo Croce and Elia Autiello, Technical Manager and Account Executive at Engineering, contributed their expertise during previous sessions and will be present once again to illustrate the evolution of the Local Flexibility Market (LFM), a fundamental pillar for making the energy system smarter, more resilient, and decarbonized — also through Energy Communities.

From ARERA Resolution 352/2021 to the RomeFlex and MindFlex projects, Italy’s experimentation is demonstrating how digital platforms like the Market Interface Platform (MIP) can efficiently connect DSOs, Balance Service Providers (BSPs), and prosumers, enabling a dynamic, data-driven local energy market.

These initiatives confirm Engineering’s role in creating a data-driven, interoperable, and sustainable energy ecosystem, with technological solutions for managing Energy Communities ready to play a leading role in the future energy network as BSPs in the flexibility energy market.
