The Tuscany Region has launched a program aimed at promoting and spreading the effective, innovative, ethical, and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

To this end, together with Eng, on January 21, 2026, in Florence, they will organize a workshop in the form of a Hackathon, involving two ITS institutes (Prime and Prodigi) from the Tuscan area, with the goal of raising awareness among younger generations about the potential of AI and its impact on the world of work.

The initiative includes, among other things, a training session dedicated to the main concepts and definitions of AI, in-depth sessions on the use of virtual assistants, ethical issues such as bias, privacy, sustainability, and transparency, as well as a focus on real-world AI applications and use cases.

The School Hackathon AI promotes digital skills, critical thinking, and dialogue between schools, businesses, and institutions, helping to spread a culture of responsible AI throughout the Tuscan Region.
