AI Italy: AI between innovation and digital sovereignty

Engineering is a partner of the event “AI Italia: Artificial Intelligence between Innovation and Digital Sovereignty,” scheduled for April 21 at the Sala Zuccari of the Italian Senate, promoted by Senator Licia Ronzulli.
The event represents an important moment of institutional and industrial dialogue dedicated to the strategic role of Artificial Intelligence in the country’s development, with a focus on technological innovation, the competitiveness of the economic system, and digital sovereignty.
Numerous institutional speakers will delve into the impact of AI on the Italian market and its potential to generate value for businesses and Public Administration, while ensuring security, governance, and technological autonomy.
Engineering will actively contribute to the proceedings with the participation of CEO Aldo Bisio, who at 4:00 p.m. will deliver a speech dedicated to sovereign AI architecture, exploring models and solutions capable of combining innovation, data protection, and strategic control of technologies.
In addition, at 5:15 p.m., Fabio Momola, EVP of ENG Digital Engineering Group, will take part in the roundtable discussion “AI everywhere: applications of Artificial Intelligence across market verticals,” contributing to the dialogue on concrete AI applications in different industrial sectors and the opportunities for digital transformation.
The entire event will be moderated by Michelangelo Suigo, Chief Public Affairs, Corporate Communication & Sustainability Officer of Engineering Group, confirming the company’s active role in promoting an informed dialogue between institutions, businesses, and the innovation ecosystem on the key issues of digital transformation.
