This year as well, Engineering, with the direct involvement of Alfahealth, a Group company, took part in the 2025–2026 research conducted by the Digital Healthcare Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano, which will conclude on May 26 with the conference “Consolidating the Future: Digital Healthcare between investments to be enhanced and new AI challenges”, scheduled to take place at the Aula de Carli of the Politecnico di Milano and via live streaming.

The conference will provide an up-to-date overview of the evolution of Digital Healthcare in Italy, which is currently at the heart of a decisive transition phase: on the one hand, the need to maximize the value of investments launched through the NRRP; on the other, the urgency of managing the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence on organizational models, clinical processes, and skills.

The initiative represents one of the country’s leading opportunities for discussion on the state of digital innovation in healthcare, and it will explore topics including:

• the current state of development of NRRP-driven Digital Healthcare projects and future priorities
• the organizational and strategic impacts of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare.
