On the occasion of its participation in the Digital Innovation Forum 2026, Engineering launches EngSure, its new agentic cybersecurity platform that leverages Artificial Intelligence to strengthen the protection of organizations’ digital assets and secure the AI ecosystem throughout its entire lifecycle.
Artificial Intelligence is profoundly reshaping the cybersecurity landscape. On one hand, it enables attacks to become faster, more convincing and more scalable; on the other, it introduces new assets that must be protected, including models, data, prompts, agents, applications and workflows integrated into business processes. The increasing autonomy of AI systems, capable of accessing information, using tools and initiating operations, also brings a new challenge: not only ensuring their performance and protecting them from threats, but also maintaining control over them, making sure AI operates within defined boundaries, under appropriate supervision and in secure conditions.
EngSure addresses this evolution by combining two complementary objectives within a single platform: using AI to enhance the speed and effectiveness of cyber defense while simultaneously securing and governing AI itself. The solution creates the trust conditions needed to delegate critical activities to AI agents and support their adoption across the operational processes of enterprises and public administrations.
In practical terms, the platform can correlate signals from multiple sources to identify and contain external attacks more rapidly, such as anomalous access attempts or data compromise efforts, including phishing and credential theft. Likewise, it can detect when an AI agent attempts to access data or trigger operations beyond its authorized scope, blocking the action or requiring human intervention. By combining automation and specialized expertise, EngSure makes AI models, data and agents secure, observable and governable, while ensuring levels of supervision aligned with risk and keeping final responsibility for decisions in human hands.
During his speech at the panel on AI, cybersecurity and post-quantum cryptography, Engineering CEO Aldo Bisio stated:
"Cybersecurity is an essential prerequisite for competitiveness and trust in digital innovation. With IS-IA, we have defined our approach to governable, transparent and secure Artificial Intelligence, enabling organizations to maintain control over data, models, infrastructures and processes. EngSure completes this strategy by extending the same principles to cybersecurity and protecting AI when it is deployed within real business operations."
EngSure is part of IS-IA, Engineering’s architecture that enables enterprises and public administrations to orchestrate and govern the entire AI lifecycle, integrating EngGPT 2 while maintaining interoperability with different models and platforms.
EngSure extends these principles into cybersecurity through a framework of proprietary AI agents coordinated across four specialized modules:
EngSure embeds these controls directly into customers’ operational processes and transforms tests and technical evidence into actionable information for governance, auditing and compliance activities. The platform also enables organizations to define and verify the operational boundaries of AI agents, ensuring they act within predefined authorizations and supervision levels. In this way, EngSure supports AI from experimentation to operational deployment, with clearly defined accountability and the security conditions required for adoption at scale.
While IS-IA enables organizations to build, orchestrate and govern their AI ecosystem, EngSure orchestrates its defense. Engineering brings security and governance into the practical reality of organizational processes, from AI system design and pre-release validation to continuous monitoring during operation.
Consistent with the IS-IA approach, EngSure also enables a modular, interoperable and proportionate cybersecurity framework. The platform can be adopted progressively and operate across different models, frameworks and infrastructures, applying security, governance and control levels that are aligned with the specific use case, regulatory requirements and risk profile of each organization.
