Challenge
A leading Italian Ministry needed to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient end-to-end management of its hybrid IT infrastructure, composed of both proprietary and cloud components. The challenge involved not only the planning and execution of technological and infrastructural evolution projects, but also the day-to-day operational management of a complex, mission-critical, and constantly evolving ecosystem.
Approach
We adopted a proactive IT Service Management approach designed to guarantee availability, efficiency, resilience, and scalability across the entire infrastructure.Preventive analysis and structured process management follow the ITIL 4 guidelines, ensuring continuous and measurable service governance.
The interaction with the Client is based on a conversational model that enables Continuous Interaction: an ongoing dialogue that supports the co-definition of priorities, the assessment of needs, and the identification of the most effective infrastructural solutions to implement.

Eng manages a highly complex IT ecosystem in outsourcing, consisting of two proprietary Data Centers and several cloud environments, totaling more than 5,000 servers, 3,500 network devices, and 3,000 email accounts.
The service, fully tailored to the needs of the Public Administration, covers all critical components of the infrastructure: databases, middleware, system management, storage, backup, and monitoring, as well as the centralized management of workstations (PCs, mobile devices, and printers). Activities include installations, upgrades, performance optimization, and structured management of incidents and changes.
A centralized monitoring system, integrated with the main ITSM tools, ensures operational efficiency, service continuity, and ongoing technological evolution.
