Challenge
The client, a multinational in the pharmaceutical sector with offices and production sites worldwide, had a heterogeneous infrastructure and a legacy network no longer suited to current agility and resilience requirements. Operational complexity and the need for continuity made it a priority to modernize cloud guest portals and migrate to a modern, centralized SD-WAN architecture.
Approach
We successfully executed a comprehensive handover and assumed full management of the network, introducing advanced monitoring and management tools. In close collaboration with the client, we developed a zero-impact transformation plan that transitioned the legacy infrastructure to an SD-WAN architecture, which was later evolved into a hybrid multi-hub cloud model. For the guest network, we implemented a customized and innovative solution tailored to the specific requirements of each site.
The design phase for the SD-WAN migration and the enhancement of guest Wi-Fi portals was carried out in close collaboration with the client, jointly defining priorities, requirements, and the transformation roadmap for each site. We launched a design process that engaged both our specialists and vendor representatives (Fortinet) to ensure an architecture aligned with industry best practices and vendor guidelines.
A pilot phase was first implemented at a selection of key locations, and later scaled across the entire infrastructure. This structured and methodical approach, applied consistently across all company projects, ensured operational continuity, high client satisfaction, and progress fully aligned with business goals
