Engineering Industries eXcellence has begun a new digital transformation project for one of the largest, most prolific Food & Beverage manufacturers in the world. To prepare for the digital future of Industry 4.0, the beverage leader wanted to improve convergence of their Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
Approach
In the first phase, Engineering IndX’s team conducted a series of Industry 4.0 Assessments at one of the customer’s flagship production facilities. Working closely with key customer stakeholders, our team was able to understand the beverage leader’s manufacturing requirements and systems to determine the best approach and solutions to be implemented. Our team identified Siemens MindSphere as the best technology platform that will enable the beverage leader to quickly and cost-effectively connect and monitor assets in real time, perform advanced analytics, build personalized dashboard applications.
