Vivi Veneto: A New Digital Home for Citizens of Veneto Region

ABSTRACT
The first "super app" for digital public services, giving every citizen access to all services from PA and Territorial Health

Where: italy
Challenge
Achieve inclusive digital citizenship and overcome the current fragmentation of digital public services, which are typically distributed across multiple portals and apps, each requiring separate SPID authentication.
Approach
With the Veneto Region, we took a service design approach to understand the needs of citizens in different roles, such as workers, people with health-assisted individuals, parents and tourists. Our goal was to simplify and improve the user experience of digital services. Citizen involvement and feedback is crucial to this project and we continued to listen to their needs after the design phase.

Solution
Digital Ecosystem
The mobile app we developed for the Veneto region serves as a one-stop shop for all the region's services for its citizens. We integrated various "cloud ready" application services and made them interoperable. This resulted in a first version of a super app that allows citizens to access more than 40 services from 4 different apps and 7 regional portals with just one SPID authentication. Key features include user guidance and information support for a quick and direct solution to their information needs on all public services in the areas of administration, health, tourism, payments and messaging.
