Challenge
In today's landscape, characterized by a growing focus on digitalization and sustainability, CIRPASS2 aims to implement Digital Product Passport-based solutions across various industrial sectors, including electronics, textiles, tires, and construction.
Approach
By adopting advanced technologies such as the IDS Standard Connector and distributed data-sharing systems, the project aims to create a secure and efficient digital ecosystem for information exchange among stakeholders across the value chain. This ecosystem relies on a central repository capable of locating source data across heterogeneous systems of origin.
Solution

Extra Red is responsible for:

  • Designing and developing a European Digital Product Passport (DPP) System based on the IDS Standard Connector and domain-specific ontologies, ensuring secure and decentralized data sharing between a European registry and companies seeking access to digital product passport information across various industrial sectors.
  • Supporting companies in adopting the new DPP system, providing tools and expertise to facilitate integration and compliance with new digital regulations.

The project has received funding from the Horizon Europe programme under Grant Agreement No. 101158775.
