Challenge
In the context of security R&I, coordinating and leveraging the results produced represents a challenge. The increasing complexity of the sector requires evidence-based support for more effective and efficient decision-making, as well as the presence of a catalyst capable of promoting the adoption of innovations, enhancing their visibility and reliability.
Approach
ENACT establishes a European knowledge network in the field of R&I on the topic, aiming to support the entire research cycle, assist market actors, and promote the adoption of innovative results from funded projects. In this context, ENACT acts as a facilitator of an integrated approach based on four essential pillars: networking, research, communication/dissemination, and adoption/cooperation.

ENACT implements coordination and support measures to leverage information from the R&I community in FCT, taking advantage of the project’s connections with specific Knowledge Hubs. Engineering is responsible for FCT R&I technology and market monitoring, managing data, ensuring AI reliability, interoperability, and data standardization, as well as promoting networking and cooperation among sector stakeholders.
