Use Case

Smart Shelf Life Management

ABSTRACT
Managing product expiration is critical to guarantee safety and quality for consumers. MarketSuite tracks shelf life, prioritizes picking, and automates disposal to reduce waste and errors.

Where: international
Mission
Ensure accurate shelf-life tracking and optimize picking by prioritizing products closest to expiration. The goal is to minimize waste, prevent errors, and maintain compliance with quality standards.
Solution
The Shelf Life module registers expiration dates for every incoming lot and monitors stock status in real time. Intelligent picking ensures products nearing expiration are selected first, reducing waste and improving rotation. Operators can correct errors directly from the dashboard or handheld devices. Configurable parameters trigger automated disposal missions for expired items, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. This approach combines traceability, accuracy, and automation for a streamlined process.
