Crispy, part of the Engineering Group, received the iF Design Award 2026

The company wins the international award in product design and innovation thanks to the STIGA.GO app.

Crispy, a company within the Engineering Group specializing in digital design, user experience innovation, and IoT solution development, has won the iF Design Award 2026 with the STIGA.GO app—one of the most prestigious international recognitions in the field of innovation and both physical and digital design.

This marks the third international award received by Crispy in the past two years, following the Red Dot Design Award, also for the STIGA.GO app in 2025 and for the My.Campy 3.0 app in 2024.

The award ceremony took place yesterday in Berlin, where Davide Cremonesi, Chief Design Officer of Crispy, accepted the prize on behalf of the company. The STIGA.GO solution was ranked among the best out of more than 10,000 entries from 68 countries, impressing an international jury of 129 independent design professionals—an important achievement highlighting the highly competitive nature of the contest.

Davide Cremonesi, Chief Design Officer of Crispy, commented: “This recognition confirms the strength of our approach: putting people at the center, making design a strategic driver of innovation, and using digital technologies to deliver tangible, high-quality, certified results.
True value comes from the integration of design, business, and technology, always aimed at creating authentic and meaningful experiences for people—just like the STIGA.GO app. As part of the Engineering Group, our goal is to take digital design to the next level, helping to accelerate and support our clients’ innovation journeys.”

STIGA.GO is a Smart Home Gardening app developed by Crispy for STIGA, a leading group in the manufacturing and distribution of garden machinery and equipment. The application transforms the smartphone into a control panel for managing the company’s connected products, including its well-known autonomous robotic lawn mowers, serving as the main digital touchpoint between the user and the machine. In addition to guiding users step by step through installation, STIGA.GO ensures full control of the device anytime and anywhere, making garden care simpler, more immediate, and more efficient. For STIGA battery-powered systems, such as ride-on mowers, the interface also functions as a virtual dashboard: an onboard assistant that monitors every detail of the cutting session in real time, from energy optimization to lawn coverage and battery status.

The success of STIGA.GO reflects the philosophy guiding every Crispy project: in a hyper-competitive landscape where people’s needs evolve rapidly and expectations for digital products grow every day, value does not lie in technology itself, but in the ability to orchestrate it to create relevant experiences capable of meeting real end-user needs.

Crispy is part of the EngX ecosystem, the Engineering Group’s digital experience division, which combines advanced digital technologies, creativity, and design to enhance user experience. Within this ecosystem, Crispy contributes its expertise in product design and IoT, strengthened by the technological solidity and international scale of one of Italy’s leading digital transformation groups.
