Engineering, one of the leaders in Digital Transformation in Italy with a significant international presence, announces the appointment of Cristiano Zanetti to the Group in the role of Executive Vice President Software Products. Reporting directly to CEO Aldo Bisio, Zanetti joins the Group with responsibility for leading the new Software Products Business Unit, established to define and drive Engineering's product strategy and enhance the performance of all proprietary solutions, ensuring strategic coherence, continuous innovation, and commercial growth in cooperation with the relevant markets.

The following Product Business Units will report to Zanetti:

• Neta – A data-driven, AI-enabled platform for the Energy & Utilities sector
• Grace – A platform for the banking sector supporting Governance, Risk, Regulatory and Compliance
•  Universo and Isypol – Platforms for the insurance sector enabling life and non-life business management
•  XLayers – A platform for managing the reinsurance process
• MarketSuite – A platform for the Retail market.

With over twenty-five years of managerial experience in the software, technology, and professional services sectors, gained in complex, high-growth environments, Zanetti will contribute to the ongoing strengthening and enhancement of Engineering's proprietary platform portfolio.

Zanetti developed much of his career at TeamSystem, where he held roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as General Manager, Market Specific Solutions, leading a business unit with direct responsibility for product development, R&D, go-to-market, delivery, and customer support, reporting directly to the CEO. Previously, he held the role of Executive Director, Vertical Business, taking on responsibility for post-acquisition integration of multiple companies and the governance of vertical business units.
