Engineering Earns EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the Second Consecutive Year

Engineering, a leading provider of digital transformation services for businesses and public administrations, has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year. EcoVadis is one of the world's most trusted ESG rating agencies. Engineering achieved an overall score of 90 out of 100, up from 85 points in the 2025 assessment.

This result confirms Engineering's position among the top 1% of the 175,000 companies worldwide that have completed the EcoVadis assessment process and demonstrated a robust sustainability management system.

Engineering Group recorded significant improvements across all four key EcoVadis assessment areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The increase was driven both by the extension of sustainability practices across a growing share of the organization and its stakeholders (Coverage) and by more comprehensive ESG reporting supported by measurable and verifiable KPIs (Reporting).

At the end of July, Engineering published its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting progress across its main ESG priorities. In the environmental sphere, as part of its decarbonization strategy, Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions decreased by 46% compared with 2022 and by 7% compared with 2024. Total energy consumption also fell by 7% year over year, while nearly 100% of the electricity used in the Group's Italian offices came from renewable sources.

From a social perspective, the gender pay gap in Italy narrowed to -1.12%, women in leadership positions reached 20.8%, and more than half of new hires were under the age of 30.

Governance was further strengthened through the establishment of the Compliance & Data Protection function, the adoption of an AI Governance strategy aligned with the European AI Act, and the implementation of the NIS organizational model to ensure compliance with the NIS2 Directive.

Engineering also continued to enhance the sustainability of its supply chain: 70% of its top suppliers are now either assessed on ESG criteria or have adopted climate targets aligned with SBTi standards.
