Description

NexusForum2023 is set to be a unique event, bringing together European research and industry to explore new, high-impact technological collaborations.

The rapid rise of Edge Computing is transforming Europe across scientific, technological, socio-economic, and geopolitical dimensions. Fields like HPC, Cloud, and IoT, once separate, are now converging into a Computing Continuum offering exciting opportunities but also presents significant challenges.

NexusForum2023 is designed to facilitate the exploration of technological synergies among key players, including the European Alliance for Industrial Data, Edge, and Cloud, EU companies, Member States involved in the IPCEI-CIS (Integrated Projects of Common European Interest on Cloud Infrastructure & Services), and the Horizon Europe research and innovation community.

Within this context, the "HIGH-IMPACT HORIZON EUROPE PROJECTS" session, scheduled for the second day of the event, brings on stage multiple EU-funded research and innovation initiatives, unveiling novel approaches and open-source developments especially relevant for such stakeholders. Particularly, Giovanni Frattini, will delve into the details of the TALON project.
