Challenge
Sparkle, a global operator of the TIM Group, provides connectivity and infrastructure services at an international level. In a competitive and evolving context, it needed to automate the processes of its Network Operation Center to improve quality and responsiveness, reduce the risk of error, and leverage AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Approach
Together with Sparkle, we embraced an agile and collaborative approach, built around use cases co-defined with the client and developed iteratively with the direct involvement of key stakeholders. This approach enabled the adoption of predictive and proactive models, streamlining NOC operational workflows and significantly enhancing efficiency in alarm management, troubleshooting, and escalation processes.
Solution
With an agile and DevOps approach, we implemented a multi-product platform using IBM Watsonx (generative AI), IBM SevOne/AIOps (performance and fault management), and Ansible (configuration automation). The project increased the level of automation in network operations and improved service quality, with further developments planned for new strategic use cases.
