Benetton innovates the shopping experience in 1,200 stores

Challenge
Benetton is one of the best-known Italian fashion companies in the world, with a distribution network of over 4,000 shops around the world showcasing the company's core values. Benetton needed to digitise the group's shops to empower sales staff and provide our customers with a seamless, frictionless and secure omnichannel shopping experience. All this had to be achieved as quickly as possible.
Approach
At the beginning of the project, different technologies were compared with proof of concepts in different shops. The choice fell on the solution POS Cegid Y2, which proved to be the most complete and suitable, and of Engineering, being able to ensure solidity and global delivery.
Solution
A new omnichannel system POS system, integrated with the loyalty system.
We supported Benetton Group in all project phases during the implementation of the POS Cegid Y2 solution: from the definition of the implementation model for each country to the roll-out and configuration of the store cash systems in the shops, also supporting the store staff to make the transition as effective as possible.
The project, which involves more than 1,500 branches worldwide, enables the standardisation of the customer experience across different stores and channels, as well as ensuring the highest level of compliance with all regulatory and tax systems in the countries involved, from ISO 27001 certification to GDPR compliance.
