Case Study

Centralized and secure network management

ABSTRACT

Secure and centralized management of network infrastructure in a hybrid environment, aimed at ensuring seamless operations, high reliability, and consistent global alignment.

Where: Italy

Challenge
A global leader in the mobility sector aimed to optimize operational efficiency, ensure service continuity, and centralize the coordination of activities across international sites and SD-WAN providers. The involvement of multiple suppliers required a single point of contact with strong coordination capabilities, as well as specialized technical and management expertise.
Approach
Our approach is based on a structured and progressive onboarding model designed to ensure full operational capability and service continuity of the network. The management model includes proactive device monitoring, with the definition of thresholds and the management of events and alerts, as well as troubleshooting and escalation handling according to shared plans. It also encompasses network asset management and documentation, along with advisory services on IT/OT network segmentation and direct management of SD-WAN providers.
Digital Ecosystem
Solution
Digital Ecosystem
The project stands out for its inclusion of contractual governance activities and structured supplier coordination to centrally manage maintenance, network asset management (LAN/WAN), and the continuous updating of documentation. Additionally, it includes reporting and performance analysis support, assistance in the client’s cloud migration project (Move-to-Cloud), harmonization of configurations for foreign branches during their onboarding according to a client-approved template, advisory services for the segmentation and separation of IT and OT networks within production plants, as well as the management of the SD-WAN service provider.
