The client is a leading company in the maritime tourist transport sector, currently undergoing international expansion across Europe, Asia, and North and Central America. The project involves the operational management of the network infrastructure in a hybrid environment, which includes both devices managed by the client's chosen network provider and equipment entrusted to the outsourcer.
Approach
Over time, we have built strong expertise in managing complex infrastructures, developing a structured and progressive takeover model designed to ensure full operational continuity and uninterrupted network services. For this project, we adopted an integrated approach combining proactive monitoring, event and alarm management, troubleshooting activities, and escalation plans shared with the client.
Our solution is based on comprehensive system management, including the continuous configuration and updating of devices and systems (addressing, patching, regular backups), along with support for contractual governance and direct coordination with maintenance providers. We have also implemented centralized hardware and software asset management processes, with ongoing updates to network documentation (LAN/WAN), and advanced tools for reporting and performance analysis, offering a clear and immediate view of the infrastructure and its criticalities.The service, active for several years, covers a wide range of areas, from software distribution to infrastructure monitoring, including system administration across Network, Unix, Microsoft, DBA, DevOps & Cloud, and vulnerability management.
