INPS Internal Developer Platform: Extra Red and Red Hat for an Innovative Cloud Experience

ABSTRACT
We support the digital transformation of INPS and promote an innovative culture of collaboration through the Cloud

Where: italy
Challenge
INPS, the National Social Security Institute, provides the largest number of national welfare benefits. The development team needed to optimise its internal processes, now managed through ticket approvals, while ensuring maximum security. To offer a more efficient and citizen-friendly service, the institute took the opportunity of the NRRP to innovate and adopt new technologies.
Approach
We drive standardized and accelerated development of new components by adopting a "Platform Engineering" approach. The Developer Portal acts as a unified access point, linking developers to essential services, tools, and documentation, and simplifying their workflows.

Solution
Digital Ecosystem
We developed a unified interface that provides developers with easy access to all essential tools. Built on Red Hat Developer Hub, this solution guides developers toward best practices and includes preconfigured templates to streamline the development and deployment of applications, simplifying integration with the institution's shared services.
