Challenge
A leading Italian shipping company, a European leader in the cruise industry, engaged us to support its cloud journey and, in particular, the evolution of IT Operations management within a highly heterogeneous and fragmented environment, through a platform capable of providing centralized end-to-end visibility.
Approach
The approach to the client’s cloud journey and the evolution of its IT Operations is structured around an in-depth assessment of the on-premise monitoring and observability tools and the IT assets to be managed, the definition of target outcomes and reference KPIs, the architectural design and associated roadmap, and finally the implementation of the platform and service activation.
We designed and implemented a unified observability platform based on Dynatrace, capable of providing end-to-end visibility across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services, including SaaS environments and Kubernetes microservices.
The model was completed with SolarWinds for network monitoring and integration with ServiceNow, enabling the centralization and automatic correlation of thousands of events from approximately 2,000 hosts, thereby improving operational management within a highly complex ecosystem.
