ABSTRACT
The analysis of the As-Is processes and the identification of Best Practices for a domestic heating systems' producer.

Challenge
The Client needed to innovate the management of Supply Chain processes.
Approach
The approach used begins with an analysis of the As-Is context of the Supply Chain in terms of its processes, technology and organisation. This analysis allowed us to identify the main gaps concerning best practices, inputs for defining a To-Be model, with the aim of making these processes more structured and allowing for the easier introduction of support tools.
Solution

The project took place over several phases:

  • Interviews with top-level to understand the main critical issues perceived in terms of Supply Chain, strategic company priorities and the direction of the Supply Chain function and analysis of As-Is processes through interviews with the Business and the preparation of detailed sheets on the processes and technologies used, with graphic representation using flow-charts;
  • Gap analysis with identification of the main critical issues regarding Best Practices and Definition of the high-level To-Be model for Supply Chain processes in collaboration with the Customer, with detailed sheets and graphic representation using flow-charts;
  • Creating the Business Case with KPI generation to estimate the expected benefits and compare them with the results obtained.
