Our client is an Italian pioneer in household appliances, today recognized internationally for versatile, high-performance products. Combining cutting-edge technology with Italian design, they stay true to their mission: delivering innovative, user-friendly, top-quality, and affordable solutions.
Approach
Engineering supported the client in managing the increasing technological and market discontinuities created by digital transformation. We have been a valuable partner in the evolution of its supply chain, thanks to the replacement of its previous and already obsolete information system.
Solution

The solution we developed with the client consisted of an innovative digital platform for planning and executing their production, procurement and distribution processes. In particular, we were involved in the following macro activities:

  • Operational processes management: a master production plan for finished products (infinite/finite capacity).
  • The management of resource and supply processes: a purchasing plan and sales order dating for finished products. (infinite/unlimited capacity), a purchasing plan for components and raw materials, the definition of targets for stock levels
  • Forecasting and sales processes management: through the use of collaborative workflow algorithms.
