DIVINE: the new data spaces ecosystem for agriculture.

ABSTRACT
An integrated platform for sharing and analyzing agricultural data

Where: international
Challenge
Agriculture, food production, supply chains, and the farm-to-fork process play a crucial role in shaping the global agricultural economy, generating extensive data across all levels, from farmers to processors and retailers, as well as other stakeholders in the agri-food sector.
Approach
Leveraging the potential of a data-driven economy in agriculture offers a significant opportunity for the industry. To effectively manage, share, analyze, and connect these agricultural data environments, it is essential to establish an ecosystem that facilitates their utilization. The DIVINE project seeks to illustrate the cost advantages and added value of sharing agricultural data in order to fully realize theire potential.
Solution

DIVINE introduces an ecosystem platform optimized for agriculture, designed to facilitate data sharing and analysis. Through real-world pilot demonstrations, the platform integrates diverse data sources and services in a modular and decoupled manner, ensuring trust, sovereignty, transparency, traceability, and data monitoring.

With a framework for cost-benefit analysis of data sharing, DIVINE provides decision support to stakeholders while driving the development of the agricultural data space ecosystem, fostering open collaboration and informed decision-making.

The project has received co-funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe programme - Grant Agreement No. 101060884.
