AI IMPACT
Human-tech collaboration to overcome our greatest challenges

Book by Paolo Cellini and Maximo Ibarra.

Artificial intelligence is a resource for everyone, but it will truly be so only if we know how to use it responsibly and with respect for the rights of those who contribute to its richness. This extraordinary technology requires a mindful use, guided by attention and consideration for its impact . AI can be inclusive only if we believe in it and want it to be.

The book analyzes the technological, economic, and social evolution that has led AI to become one of the greatest innovations in human history.

In this scenario, humanity faces unprecedented global challenges that only technology can help us overcome. AI IMPACT tells us through use cases and real-world applications how AI can help us make a difference in this historical moment.

What makes this book valuable is the demonstration that, just as the internet has become an essential part of daily life, AI is destined to do the same.

With the proliferation of wearable devices and smartphones, AI will soon be everywhere and accessible to all, revolutionizing the way we interact with the digitized world.

This book offers an in-depth look at the potential of AI to address some of our most complex challenges: from climate change to water management, from education to the economy, democracy, and beyond.

By highlighting the impact of AI and presenting real-time solutions, the authors envision a future that could be sustainable and fair for humanity and the planet.

AI & Data as an enabling technology

The ability to learn from vast amounts of Data, to simulate nature inspired behaviours, combined with traditional intelligence models and algorithms are the shift and evolution that position AI (Artificial Intelligence) & Data as the most important enabling technologies today.

The concept of AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques first appeared in papers and research in the 50s by intuitions of the Turing’s test, used to define if a machine was able to think, to be considered “intelligent”.

AI & Data applications have an extremely concrete impact by making it possible to identify hidden patterns, provide personalized services, learn from Data and make predictions, and essentially bring the analysis of complex scenarios to simple results, delivering unprecedented value.

ENG AI & DATA

The power of big data leads services, products and processes to a higher level of "intelligence".
