Now more than ever it is necessary to accelerate the design, development and uptake of new secure digital technologies for the European industry grounded on AI-based product, processes and services by SMEs in their manufacturing and production processes.
To this end, AI REGIO will rise awareness and provide access to trusted solutions following well-defined guidelines and go-to market strategies, helping SMEs in developing their “digital trustworthiness” as a competitive advantage.

- SMEs get fast and secure data links so that AI methods can be used expediently.
Solution
In order to guide Manufacturing SMEs through an ethical and sustainable adoption of AI, AI REGIO aims at coordinating different regional smart specialization strategies, creating an interoperable network of AI DIHs and enriching the results of L4MS project in the domain of Industry 4.0 with innovative AI applications and open platforms.
