Description

"PPP & Private Capital for Sustainable Infrastructure and Smart Cities" is the title of the latest volume in the Università Cattaneo - Libri di Guerini Next series, which will be presented on Friday 18 November at the ADI Design Museum during the new edition of Bookcity Milano, the Book and Reading Festival.

The theme of sustainability, which in recent years has become increasingly central even in the financial sphere, is of growing interest in the development of smart cities and investments in sustainable infrastructures. In this process, where the public obviously plays a significant role, it is at the same time essential to create a favourable framework for the intervention of private players. The scenario is constantly evolving, but there is no doubt that Italy, which is already actively engaged in implementing the PNRR, is a key player in this dynamic. The most suitable connecting tool is the Public-Private Partnership (PPP), the subject of this essay that stems from the research work of LIUC's Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Finance for Infrastructure and Smart Cities (ExSUF).

Two of the authors of the book, Anna Gervasoni (Full Professor of Economics and Business Management and Director of the Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Finance for Infrastructures and Smart Cities - ExSUF) and Michele Lertora (PhD student in "Management, Finance and Accounting"), will be speaking, together with Giulio De Carli, Giampiero Bambagionie and the president of Municipia Stefano De Capitani.
