Milano Digital Week
350 hybrid and free events for a digital transformation workshop.
00:00 - 00:00
Milano Digital Week is the largest Italian event dedicated to education, culture and digital innovation promoted by the City of Milan.
The central theme is Development of Limits, conceived on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of research. The event aims to investigate the ways in which society develops within today's irrefutable limits, reflecting on the role of digital technology, which is increasingly becoming a vehicle for knowledge, relations and inclusion.
The thematic areas of the fifth edition move from the micro to the macro: from the ethical problems linked to privacy and algorithms to socio-economic inequalities, from the environmental impacts of and in work, to the epistemological limits linked to the new frontiers of Artificial Intelligence, passing through the difficulties faced daily by students and professors in a didactics that must be renewed day by day, and a health care system that must continually face new challenges, starting with that of increased longevity.
On 14 November, Martino Maggio, our senior researcher, will present the SPOTTED and INTERSTAT projects within the workshop "Promoting cross-border reuse of high value datasets for PA, European projects", talking about interoperability and exploitation of Linked Open Statistical Data.
