On March 21, the CyberSEAS project and the WOMEN4Cyber organization are hosting a 90-minute workshop with the aim of facilitating the exchange of knowledge and best practices among entities directly or indirectly affected by NIS2.

The Network and Information Security (NIS2) Directive, which moves in the direction of an increasing level of European cybersecurity, was published by the EU in December 2022. EU member states have until October 18, 2024 to transpose it at the national level.

The webinar presents an interesting program with perspectives from different sectors ready to discuss such a strategic and sensitive topic. Francesca Giampaolo, Consulting Project Manager at Engineering and member of the Women4Cyber (W4C) Italy community, presents the vision, strategic actions and roadmap in terms of exploitation results of the CyberSEAS research project. The project aims to counter cyber risks related to attacks against the Electric Power and Energy System (EPES) and protect consumers.
