Challenge
In an increasingly competitive automotive landscape, a leading high-performance components manufacturer took on the challenge of making its internal service delivery more efficient and responsive. Backed by global leadership built on technological innovation and distinctive design, the company seized the opportunity to evolve its operational management—ensuring greater agility in the face of growing complexity and shifting industry dynamics. This led to the need for centralized operations management across hybrid and multicloud environments.
Approach

We adopted a structured approach based on four key pillars:

-  a solid methodology based on established frameworks such as ITIL4 and COBIT, to ensure consistency and continuous improvement;

- a clear organizational structure, with well-defined roles and cross-team collaboration, focused on service excellence;

- an effective governance model to integrate decision-making processes, risk management, compliance, and performance monitoring;

- the adoption of specific operational practices—from incident and change management to SLAs and performance metrics—to ensure efficient and responsive service delivery.

Solution
Digital Ecosystem

The project included a transition plan to move to multicloud management on AWS and Azure.  Following an initial requirements analysis phase, DevOps frameworks were adopted for continuous delivery, alongside Agile for flexible management. Eng’s managed services are built on international standards, with ITIL 4 as the operational model to ensure efficiency, value, and cloud flexibility. Key practices introduced include:

- breaking services into microservices, enabling rapid, low-impact changes;

- use of pre-authorized changes or automated approval workflows;

- incident management automation, supported by a fault-tolerant architecture;

With the adoption of IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines, cloud service management becomes more efficient and easily replicable. We provide always-on support, every day of the year, through a dedicated cloud operations team serving as a single point of contact, covering all cloud management capabilities, including FinOps activities.
