Journey to Cloud with Microsoft
We've adopted a two-phase migration approach. Initially, we thoroughly analyzed and assessed existing infrastructures and workloads to develop a robust landing zone design and a detailed migration plan.
Following this, we migrated the workloads to Azure Cloud, identifying further opportunities for optimization and evolution. Continuous collaboration with Microsoft consulting services has been pivotal in supporting the entire process seamlessly.
To ensure a secure and efficient migration to the Cloud, Engineering has supported the client from the initial phases:
- Assessement by evaluating On-Premises workloads and infrastructures to develop a precise migration plan and prepare the landing zone.
- Creating the Landing Zone on Azure to enable the scalable and cost-effective implementation of governance functions. This ensures consistent configuration across cloud environments, simplifying the management of diverse workloads.
- Implementing a structured migration in two parallel waves, specific to SAP and non-SAP environments. We began with less critical workloads to validate migration procedures and subsequently tackled more complex migrations with enhanced security and efficiency.
