Vivaticket is a global leader in ticketing and access control systems for a wide range of events. The client needed to optimize costs, protect data, and implement services on a global scale using a flexible, scalable, resilient, and secure platform. The main challenge was managing the complex migration of multiple workloads distributed across more than 12 regions worldwide.
Approach
The approach taken with Vivaticket utilized AWS cloud-native tools and services, applying the DevOps methodology through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance productivity. Additionally, we adopted AWS best practices, enabling us to accelerate the cloud migration and modernization process.

Engineering used the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), an Agile migration methodology organized into three phases: Assessment, Mobilize, and Migrate & Modernize. The solution facilitated the rapid achievement of AWS cloud migration goals, allowing Vivaticket to fully leverage cloud elasticity and modernize their systems, starting with the B2B2C ticketing system. Cloud adoption will enable Vivaticket to manage environments more efficiently and securely through the introduction of native AWS services that proactively and preventively reduce risks and enhance operational levels.
