Challenge
Rai has a very extensive and valuable library of content. It exploitation has always been a challenge at the corporate level. On the one hand, the company has to ensure effective and efficient management, on the other hand, Rai's mission is to make this content available to the user, enhancing a personalised UX by ensuring quality and the ability to access it on-demand and mobile (Anywhere & Anytime).
Approach
Our client needed a partner who could help them make their content available on new platforms and in mobility, and encode it in a language more suitable for modern devices. Since September 2020, we have been working on the development of apps and web portals that make this content accessible to the end user. From the outset, the project strategy has been to create flexible, multi-skilled teams capable of ensuring both the quality and sustainability of the service and adapting quickly to the client's needs. The development methodology chosen is Agile.
Solution
We are active in the areas of backend, frontend and mobile and support Rai in the following activities:
- Setting evolution guidelines for the CMS and frontend.
- Delivering a seamless user experience across all platforms.
- Developing software and updates that enhance the use of apps on other devices.
- Redefining players to optimise performance when using apps,
- Code analysis and rewriting, library management for app optimisation on smartphones, tablets and smart devices TV, SEO services for RaiNews and RaiPlay.
