The INTERSTAT project is part of the Connecting Europe Facility program and aims to develop a framework that enables interoperability between national statistical portals and the European Data Portal, as well as the dissemination of cross-border services that reuse European open statistical data sets from these portals.

The project is carrying out a series of scientific, technical, and legal activities to investigate and provide a range of solutions to achieve its objectives. The project consortium is led by Engineering and involves the participation of:

  • ISTAT - National Institute of Statistics (Italy),
  • INSEE - National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (France),
  • FIWARE Foundation (Germany).

INTERSTAT is co-financed by the European Union's Connecting Europe Facility program under Agreement No. INEA/CEF/ICT/A2019/2063524.
