Support the success of the Digital Single Market by facilitating the provision of digital public services across borders and sectors.
Approach
The INTERSTAT project is part of the Connecting Europe Facility program and aims to develop a framework that enables interoperability between national statistical portals and the European Data Portal, as well as the dissemination of cross-border services that reuse European open statistical data sets from these portals.

The project is carrying out a series of scientific, technical, and legal activities to investigate and provide a range of solutions to achieve its objectives. The project consortium is led by Engineering and involves the participation of:
- ISTAT - National Institute of Statistics (Italy),
- INSEE - National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (France),
- FIWARE Foundation (Germany).
INTERSTAT is co-financed by the European Union's Connecting Europe Facility program under Agreement No. INEA/CEF/ICT/A2019/2063524.
