Research Project
SATIN: Clinical experimentation of innovative treatments
In Engineering we have defined the model for information deriving from laboratory experiments, using the resources of the HL7 / FHIR standard. We then developed a web application for geneticists and researchers, in order to catalog the images produced during the experiments, so as to enable complex searches and comparisons between the available images. The solution created organizes the data in a manner similar to the provisions of the regulations on the subject of "Laboratory notebook", increasing the availability of data, accessibility to information, improving the performance of research and comparison of experiments. Engineering also coordinated the requisite elicitation phase, or rather the process of acquiring information on the system to be developed.
The project was co-financed by the European Union, the Italian State and the Campania Region, as part of the POR Campania FESR 2014-2020.
