Employment Services

Technologies and skills at the service of the labor market and professional training.

Engineering supports its clients and stakeholders in achieving the ambitious goal of combating unemployment through skill acquisition tools and talent enhancement, helping to bridge the gap between labor supply and demand.

GOL Program and Support for Training and Employment: Digital as a Strategic Lever and Engineering’s Role

At both regional and national levels, employment centers are increasingly linked to two key strategic initiatives.

The first is the Worker Employability Guarantee Program (GOL), part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), which provides significant investments in job reintegration, training, and collective reallocation for unemployed individuals and/or those in vulnerable situations.

The second is the new Support for Training and Employment (SFL) initiative, which aims to provide financial aid to disadvantaged groups, tying these contributions to mandatory training and upskilling.

In this context, Engineering has solid expertise in employment-related issues and Labor and Professional Training Information Systems, forging strategic partnerships to deliver concrete solutions for institutions and citizens.

New digital tools for skill acquisition and matching supply with demand

Engineering carries out daily activities including:

  • Technical assistance on targeted placement policies, mandatory communications, employment services, public calls and notices, unemployment status, labor supply-demand matching, Youth Guarantee, and professional training.

  • Advanced models for matching labor supply and demand.

  • Development of management dashboards for the labor market, with a focus on monitoring active and passive labor policies.

  • Digitalization of processes and procedures, transforming the design and implementation of employment services through a digital approach. This includes integrating information and data from various sources within a welfare ecosystem, enhancing outreach to citizens, businesses, and stakeholders.

  • Creation of virtual Employment Centers that, through innovative technologies, enhance the ability to meet the service demands of citizens and businesses, complementing traditional employment centers.
