The proliferation of Telemedicine solutions, which emerged during the pandemic period, has necessitated a structural intervention aimed at bridging the gap between territorial disparities and offering greater integration between regional health services and existing national platforms. The national platform will therefore offer some enabling services, which are fundamental for the planning, governance and monitoring of telemedicine processes on the national territory, offering a tool for rationalisation and interaction with the existing territorial systems.
In this context, the Apulia Region has been chosen as a benchmark region, together with the Lombardy Region, for the implementation of Telemedicine. This means that the models implemented in the years of digital transformation will be a reference for all the other Italian regions.
We will talk about this on 25 February in Bari at a meeting organised by AiSDeT (Italian Association of Digital Healthcare and Telemedicine), which intends to examine the project in depth and provide information on the next steps of development, as envisaged by the Regional Operational Plan to be implemented in 2023.
